Are the cheap wire ones OK?

With a Crane XR700, what gap should I use? Stock? or a bit more?

from a reputable manufacture should be ok, Snap On Craftsman, etc.

I run a Crane XR 700 and I run stock setting, but Mr. Self says I can go wider if I want to. Just remember Pertonix is not an electronic ignition system, just a point replacement device, which is good, but not an electronic ignition system
