Mountain Club which is by the end of the run. The final leg is normally Lockwood Valley Road, which has numerous culverts crossing the road which could easily send an '02 into a raging creek when you attempt to cross the rapidly flowing water. The run through the mountains is subject to that plus falling rocks. In the western US desert/mountains you respect the possibility of flash floods even on interstates. A few years back on I5 by Coalinga, raging waters washed out a freeway overpass over a creek and five cars plunged into the water just cruising at 70. No one survived.

AT THIS TIME...IT APPEARS THAT CONDITIONS WILL BE FAVORABLE

FOR FLASH FLOODING...SATURDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...ESPECIALLY IN THE

MOUNTAINS OF LOS ANGELES AND VENTURA COUNTIES...AND ACROSS THE

ANTELOPE VALLEY.
