are there any trick to know, or pitfalls to avoid when mounting a stock radio antenna to the drivers A pillar? It's a sunroof car and I want to avoid damaging the drain tube. Thank you - CT.

cheapo, Radio Shack antennea that mounts on the inside of the windshield, like alot of cars that have them built into the windshield. Thin wire runs around the top edge - no external antennea. Once you see how this is built, you could probably craft one yourself, which I will do eventually, that is even more discrete, using TV cable wiring. It was about $5. I just could not come to drill holes in the A pillar, and patched up the ones that were there before painting.

gradually increase bit size. You really don't want to drill thru the drain hose! Did the job on my sunroof 69 when it was new, and it came out OK.

Cheers
