the same guy also owns a bentley continental GT. we never have to leave work to see an exotic car show around here.

a 2000 Boxster S for it's 16 year old owner. Mom didn't blink at the near $1K invoice
even if i could afford it theres no way in hell id buy my kid a car like that. or any car for that matter. my kids both learned to drive a piece of shit 86 nissan sentra. they then went on to purchase their own bmw's (old e30's and e36's) and appreciate them that much more. maybe im old fashioned but where does a 16 yo go from a boxter s?
... my son bought his first car (84 e30) on his own, and he appreciates it that much more having saved for it himself. It is very cool to see how much he is enjoying the car, and how well it he is taking care of it!
