Did all of the E30s have the battery in the trunk? I'm trying to use Realoem to find part numbers for cable and distribution block, so I want to make sure I am searching the correct model years. Thanks

He has a lot of good factory parts manual pics.

You may be able to search here and roadfly for one of his previous posts.

I THINK THAT THIS IS DUE TO A SMALLER

TRUNK THAN THOSE FOUND ON THE HARDTOPS .

My '92 convertible has the battery in the front, against the firewall on the passenger side. Ground runs to the passenger side inner fender.

Hope it helps.

the positive cable from the battery to the junction base? Does another wire from the car connect to it at the junction base?

You are the man! I'm always amazed at the wealth of diagrams you have. I'll be doing a rear batt conversion on a 2002 in the next 6 months, so those part numbers are handy.
