BMW Museum at the Olympic Tower gains an attraction: BMW is building a replica of the 2002 tii from new parts

Visitors to the museum can track its progress in the Glass Workshop

Munich. The "cult car" label is one that is popular and frequently bestowed. But there's one car that really does merit this epithet: few models embody the spirit of the early 1970s like the BMW 2002. It is this zeitgeist phenomenon that BMW Mobile Tradition is now reproducing with the aid of new parts. And the best thing about it is that visitors to the BMW Museum at the Olympic Tower can follow its progress on a daily basis thanks to the museum's Glass Workshop.

I like that phrase "inka - a strong orange"

How about that "original shell" they started with, any more of those in good enuf shape to be called "new"?

I was editor of the BIMMER BEAT Roadrunner Chapter, I told a pic of a T bird and said that BMW was coming out with a new V^ coupe, and to call for detail, alot of people called, it was all BS
