Mercedes SLR...

Today at work (I sell Mercedes) we received an SLR... what a cool car. Anyone in the market for a $455,000.00 (plus another 50k) car? The killer is I can't drive the thing, won't even let me sit in it. To the GM this car is nothing more than a pain in the ass...I just don't understand, it really is a beautiful car but I can't see spending a half a million on anything but a house.

scratch and sniff it all over , take photos , enjoy it because the production has ended. The deal is over.

Might be the last time you see it in person.

I enjoyed many miles tuning and servicing 300SL and 300Roadsters way back when. What a treat to feel, hear, and Smell the power from the old big 6 cyl. Gullwing.

Seeing a machine like the SLR is a golden moment- you may not be able to drive it - but maybe some will take you for a ride if you pester nicely

i got the chance to sit in and check out an alpina Z8. it was pretty sweet. only around 550 made.

but none of them are an 02, and we all get to see one of those every day. a much better deal, i think.

my piece of Z8 Alpina history !

what a thrill to be the first one to loosen up the new gearbox, feel the suspension soften in the first 15 miles during a new car prep roadtest. What a car !all aluminum uni-body - soaks up all the road harshness like a pair of 'advanced' downhill ski's in the old days whan wood was phased out to aluminum and glass fiber came into production.......

I'd have no Drivers Licence !!

Car Kraazy !

original Z8 is much nicer, unless youre 85 years old and cant row your own... (shame that emissions laws killed the ORIGINAL)
