Pictures of your hood pins for those who have them

I think I'm gonna have to have hood pins holding my hood down. Since my front fenders are fiberglass I wont have those hood centering mount things.

I used rubber bushings and wqashers for the front pins. The rear pins' plate bolt on trhe stock holes.

the sheet metal plates covering the headlight backspace... when I purchased my '74 track car the previous owner had them installed too. What purpose do they serve 'cause I'll reinstall them when resto project is complete. TIA

rear pins like that because of the curve of the hood? Or is it hard to back up the hood pins neer where your plates for your pins bolt on? Sometimes it's hard to figure things out when your car is in a shop and hasn't been home for years.

But, as it cuts any air from entering the engine bay, you have to make sure your carburator gets fresh air thru an airbox or they will run extremely rich.
