Stock rear shock bushing vs. Bilstein HD

I installed a set of used rear HDs today that I bought on eBay last week that didn't come with the upper rubber bushings, so I just used the stock bushings that I installed with the Boge shocks. The installed Bilsteins now make the rear sit up about 2" higher!

Do the Bilstein bushings that come with the new HD shocks look different than the OEM bushings? I'm assuming they have to be shorter- is this right?

The gas shocks do push out a bit more at rest, which accounts for the added ride height.
