A 323i trailing arm bolts right into a stock 2002 subframe,

Yes they bolt right up but... You will have to either fabricate a spring perch or tabs for coilovers. I am running coilovers so I simply welded tabs and they work great.

ie do they position the wheels in exactly the same spot as the 02

trailing arms?

if you know what I mean.

What I'm interested in knowing is will the e21 trailing arm on an 02

subframe make the track wider or was the extra e21 width in the

subframe between the trailing arm mounts?

'02 and a 320, so I can measure between the inner pivots of both if needed........

They'll fit in an 02 subframe fine. Its about 5mm or so wider on the ends I believe (on each side)

Still have my 323i arms sitting on a shelf..waiting...waiting...
