YEA - MORE WORK and even rarer parts, and no one who will service it for you - better be good understanding BOSCH CIS, and other high-temp ailments

Good Luck to the the new benyfactor

I've seen/driven this car. It was owned by a friend of mine at one point. The turbo set-up is the same one used by lots of 320i owners at that time. Most were dealer installed. I know of at least one 320i set up the same way that had over 100k on it before the turbo failed. Still, I hate the bumpers.

Do E21 Exhaust manifolds bolt on a 2002 engine?

Very nice car if you are a 320i fan, which I am not. Don't think it's overpriced though.

Great looking E21 nonetheless....I changed out the interior from tan to black in my '76 Malaga daily driver '02, and the difference is strikingly "improved"...I suppose some people just like "tan"...only tan interior I like goes with Black exterior (as in an M5, etc.)

it also "shows everything"...black tends to hide imperfections and wear as time marches on. To me, black is just more practical...

...'cuz it it's orignal paint, Malaga didn't last beyond that model year. Well, maybe '78.

How do you like those door mirrors?

There used to be a '77 E21 316 here in Grand Rapids. It was Inka. Very cool.

both of the 2002's had the factory gobi tan interiors, the malaga tii originally must have had the saddle interior but when I bought it the car had a black interior, front seats were from either a '75 or '76 2002, could tell from the headrests. I took the rear seat out to repad it and could see some of the original saddle material. I actually like tan on malaga/burgundy.
