I AM APPROACHING THE 21st CENTURY WITH CAUTION .

SINCE MY DAUGHTER CRASHED THE RED HERRING ( '75 2002 A )

THINGS HAVE NOT BEEN RIGHT RIGHT HERE .

I HAVE ALWAYS ADMIRED THE E30 CONVERTIBLE SO WE DECIDED TO GIVE ONE A TRY .

HERE IT IS ! IT IS A 5 SPEED WITH A MANUAL TOP & MOST OF THE OTHER OPTIONS .

PRICES OF THESE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HIGH ENOUGH TO KEEP ME AWAY IN THE PAST BUT THERE SEEM TO BE SOME BARGIANS

OUT THERE NOW .

SO FAR WE HAVE PUT A NEW TOP ON IT AND DONE THE USUAL UNDER THE HOOD STUFF ( TIMING BELT , IGNITION STUFF & WATER PUMP )

THE SEATS GO FOR UPHOLSTERY TOMORROW . TODAY IS CARWASH DAY FOR ALL THE BMW's

two owner LA/Sacramento car - 132K miles, original Alpenweiss II paint, top & black leather, all the books, maint. history - $4900.

Have had a few minor issues (leaking steering rack, a/c related idle problem, gas door lock works opposite from the rest of the central locking system) but overall a great car.
