Its cool to have a friend with such a machine shop. I did a very cool surge tank for my fueling system.

The picture below is not mine, but looks a lot like it.

It can hold 1.5L of fuel before starving.

I machined my parts righ besides Lee's disc brake hats, so i figure the deal is going good.

I will post picture of it soon.

I went on Thursday to check and measure the specs. Everything is going as planned. We will be one week behind schedule though. But that is fine with me.

Looking at your rear extensions, it looks like you are going to instal very wide flares. What will they be?

As i said, the one show is not mine. There is a 5th nipple "under" for a dual fuel pump system on the one pictured.

Mine only have 4, 2 inlets, 2 outlets.

See this surge tank as a tank itself, where the fuel cannot go away of the sucking tube that sits under it when cornering as an example.

It is mainly to alleviate the problem associated when the in tank tube or pump sucks air because the fuel is all in one corner. It happens quite often on my 02 ;)

So, the intank pump pump fuels into this litle tank, and the fuel is sucked from under this tank by the high presure pump, and extra fuel is returned to this tank, so there is always a minimum of 1.5L of fuel that will never be mixed with air.
