Oil Pressure trouble

Last night after Nick exited from a 15-minute drive at highway speeds, the oil light came on and the oil pressure dropped to ZERO. After a few choice words, I towed him home. When we arrived, I started the car and it ran fine and idled with about 20PSI and topped out around 45PSI when reved. Any ideas? Yes it has oil. We just rebuilt the engine a couple of weekes ago and it has less than 100-miles on it. The Oil Pump is also New.

Yep, I guess we'll drop the oil pan and take a look at the bypass tube. We put the spacer on the back side of the gear
