I'm so proud! I held the hood from the center and slid the hinges down so the slot lined up on the one bolt that was started. My son guided the hinges, my daughter...well she was there.

Fired it up in the garage and it ran great. Can't wait to go for a drive: 38 DGES, battery relocate, M3 starter, 80 amp alternator, electric fan and a ton of electrical work completes my spring upgrade session.

Just had to share!

Excellent role modelling for your son and daughter. They will be '02 fanatics as well. My 18 year old daughter drives a 76 '02 daily. Keep up the good work.

I'm not complaining that my dad wasn't, but I wish he was into cars so I could have had those type of experiences growing up.

My dad brought me up around old cars, and it's a hobby that we both continue share. In addition to my tii, we're also working on a '37 Ford 1-ton truck and '50 Ford Woody Wagon.

Now I get pass it along to my kids (Will and Grace ages 6 and 3). Thanks to Meyekel, they got their first ride in an '02 a month or so ago. They loved it!
