Bolt on MC options for early 1969 2002

Hello, I'm wondering what my choices are for

Brake Master Cylinders for an early 1969 BMW

2002. I think the early ones have single hose for

front brakes, does that make a difference? I heard

you can bolt on a 530 master cylinder and I was

wondering what my choices were to replace a

faulty MC on my 02....it's sitting in the driveway not

being used untill I get the brakes fixed. So what do

you think I should do. I've found an early NOS

master cylinder, for $ 100, but I see E32 MCs w/

boosters on Ebay for $30...Does the 530 MC or

something similar bolt right onto the 02's brake

booster, or should I just get the New Old stock one,

and leave it at that.

Thanks...

only thing that's not a pure bolt-in is the grommets beween the fluid reservoir and the body of the mc (i.d. of the E21 reservoir mounting grommets is bigger than the od of the 02 reservoir "nipples", and the E21 mc nipple bores are bigger than the o.d. of the 02 grommets).

One solution is to enlarge the i.d. of a pair of 320 grommets enough to squeeze 02 grommets inside 'em (I used a Dremmel with a small sanding drum mounted on a spindle) - have had the 02 reservoir installed on the E21 mc for 3 years with no leaks.

Thanks for the reply...Did you re-tap the threads on

the 320 MC so the 02 fittings would work? What

size tap, and did it work OK. Anyone else with

similar issues or sucessess, please reply. I'd like

to find a solution that works. Any OEM parts that

work from Autozone or Discount Auto?

Thanks
