Need help with a screaming weber carb

I just installed a weber 32/36 carb. When the choke is off I am getting an intermitent sound like a scream. If I rev the engine it will go away but will come back. I know it is from the carb but I can't figure out what it is. Otherwise the carb is working great. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My E30 make the LOUDEST scream from a leak in the intake manifold gasket.

I would take a look at the base gasket for the carb. Put a new one on there and secure the carb to the manifold snug but not too tight.

If that doesn't do it...keep looking. Could be the cover gasket or even the intake manifold.

HTH,

Gary
