My front fog light pull switch has 5 wires out the back..

and rotates to 3 postions once pulled out. So

what's it all for?

can u point me in a direction to find the wires to hook up a couple of fog lights?

Does this system already have a fuse to it?

I still have a floating ground (2inchwire) coming off each of my headlights ground plug.

this is on a 72 i have

Your switch sounds more like the combination rear defroster(pull out to activate)/fan speed (rotated to change fan speed) switch although the switch I just described has six prongs on the back rather than five.

i don't see any wires near the rear window but there is a hole in the headliner and body at the right rear pillar area...

maybe an addition? That might explain the 3 extra wires i have under the dash as i already have the fan hooked up, and the right fan control works huh?
