Finally got my hands on an original ti airbox. Got to rig it up somehow, which is going to entail making some adjustment to my stress bar mounting, moving my electric fuel pump from the firewall to the frame rail (or maybe the trunk) and who knows what else.

Also planning to do the Dan McGinn battery-under-the-rear-seat mod at some point, along with removing the rear stress bar so I can reclaim my trunk. And install the long rear wheel studs I've had sitting on my shelf for the last year. Plus all the usual spring maintenance. And probably a few things I've forgotten.

Just got the wheels back from the machine shop on Friday with new stainless steel inserts for the proper shank-type lugnuts. I have new Minilite centercaps, of course.

There is some electrical work to do (low beam on left side doesn't work), and the pod with three S-W gauges on the dash need to be rewired.

I'll also be installing a used console with NOS Blaupunkt am/fm/stereo casette.

Oh, and a clutch.

Ditto, front strut bearings.

I expect to move the car to a building just behind my apartment to get this stuff done. Julius has beeen hiding out in storage since last August.

Varco's rear disk kit, 3.91 LSD, new rear bearings, e12 528i master cylinder, CV rebuild/regrease. Just got the rear sub, diff., and trailing arms installed yesterday. Now for the messy hydraullic work... if I can find my brake hose spring clips.

If I have time, I'll replace the alternator with an original or one from a 325i and hope to find time to get the windshield wipers working again.
