clearanced enough when installing the tranny.

I did the upper nut from the engine compartment, rather than from under the car, IIRC.

and let the thing drop as low as you can without hurting anything (guibo, exhaust, etc)

and the extra room will be enough to get at those #$#$%% (imagine bolts in Jonny- style photo) nuts.

Or you can cut an access hole in the tunnel, but that ends up right where the throttle is...
