First time I really looked under the Alpina rear suspension

Also both camber and toe are adjusted inboard- so I am assuming the outboard arrangement is stock configuration? Are the 2 bolts on the bottom of the subframe also holding the toe adjustment plate? I ownder if teh trailing arms are bent or if that is just reinforcement. Also on your site i saw the sprung exhaust- Is that original alpina stuff too? It makes so much since in terms of taking care of the header. I wonder if its sealed in amy way or just stuffed in there? Needless to say I'm envious- very cool car! Post more pics!!!!!

Made by Bilstein years ago. These are assemblies not just inserts. Ive heard rumors they only made like 500 pairs. Supposidly for Rally Racing. The rears are also Bilstein inverted . Got rears off German Ebay. Front assemblies from my parts car. If anybody knows anything about the fronts I have drop me a line.

inboard adjusts toe, camber between the eccentric mount and the plate adjustments. I think that is just for fine tuning. The more dramatic change is on the outboard, I am almost sure my other tii' trailing arm doesn't look like that. The exhaust header is an Alpina style header made by Bavarian Rennsport, the primaries consist on 4 individual tubes that slip in the secondaries (2) which slip on the collector (1), springs allow movement on the joint. Like a racing motorcycle exhaust.
