Down Draft -- 38 doublepumper $350 (simmilar to 38 DGAS, but has 2 pomps)

Side Draft -- 40 DCOM (simmilar to 40 DCOE but different type of pump)

and how can I tell what I already have? and when I told my mechanic I bought a solonoid he started laughing...said they come with the weber...its a new solonoid...dunno when the ebayer is gonna send it :-/

downdraft, they don't come with a new carb, and one from a Solex won't fit. The only reason you'd need one is if you have a dieseling (run-on) problem with your car...that is, the engine pops and stutters and coughs after you've turned the key off. Happens on high mileage engines that are carboned up, too high an idle (esp cars with A/C) or sticky chokes.

Steve, what kind of gas mileage is being reported on the standard 38/38 and the double pumper?

I drove with costco gas (didnt know it would make a diff)so now I will test using 76 gas. Last test. I got 36 miles on half a tank of gas....thats doesnt seem good.
