Turbo airdam mounting questions.

Hey all I just got my Dave Pineda Turbo Airdam and must say it is quite awesome. I am switching over from my Ireland front to this one. Is there a measurement how high/low it should be? Also, more importantly, must I cut these Ireland turbo flares to mount it? It seems like i have to cut the bottom of the flares off so they will snug up against each other but I didn't want to hack without asking here. Any advice is greatly appreciated, I am trying to get it on this week if at all possible.

My car is a '72, I knew the nose was different for bumpers and grills vs. a '74 but never knew the shape was different. Anyone else find this? My Ireland one fit perfect, this one won't bend like a plastic Ireland one though.

Curtis... I measured Tony's Turbo and it was about 3 inches from the grill I think,,

Ok, tried it on a square tail car,still the wrong angles, quickly pissing me off.
