brake booster cut-away

Does anybody have a schematic of the brake booster (non tii), particularly where the vacuum line (that 90 degree plastic elbow)connects? I ordered up a new elbo, hose and check valve for my single line 69 (hey that rhymes!), and am gearing up to replace it this weekend.

'02 AD wasn't sure if there was a rubber seal around that 90deg elbow fitting that could be a cause of my hissing sound and vacuum leak-I know Tim had some experience with this problem. Hopefully the new part has the seal, or will resolve leak number zillion.

TIA

last year, happened right after renewing the front and rear brakes that day. The car shuddered while applying the brake pedal,I could hear the hissing noise, and the idle went up a bit while the brake pedal was depressed. I knew it wasn't the booster hose because I replaced that just before doing the brakes. On my '69 2000, the one way valve is threaded in the manifold and those are hard to obtain so I put in a new in line check valve and then ruled that out shortly after. I then found out it was the diaphragm, got lucky though as a guy in North Carolina (Al Taylor ) had a good used booster for my 2000, sent him $40.00 ( asking price for a rebuilt one was close to $400.00 and they are a bit different than a 2002 brake booster ) and I was all set after putting it in. Hopefully, after your new booster hose section, check valve, and elbow are put on, the hissing will go away., let us know what happens Ash..
