o2radiator[2]%20(2).jpg

im concerned about losing some rigidity in the front. im looking to buy a custom aluminum radiator like this and this would simplify installation. do you think id need to fabricate some sort of reinforcement or do you think a strut brace would suffice?

sorry if this is your car. the image was sent to me by iigmotive

hey, i'm just trying to save you money. custom radiators are major bux and not really necesasry for an s14. that money would be better spent getting a decent dashboard for your car instead of that 'jonny special'.

.. and not the additional tubing tied into a rollbar? I've wondered the same thing since I plan on cutting the front out for an M20 conversion. I think the brace would be good enough as far as holding the suspension in place under load, but I'm not sure what the sheet metal would do (hood, fenders, etc.) under load/twisting.

I was planning on making a bolt-on brace for the front of the compartment. For two reasons, to stiffen it back up somewhat and to cover up all the cut areas and clean it up cosmetically. Its all in my mind though, nothing designed yet.

the space I would have to deal with som kind of bracing. The Mcginns have a great brace, I would like one of those as well. Here is an IDEA nothing set in stone, like I said after everything is in then I would know what kind of space I'm dealing with.
