OT:BMW K100 throttle bodies on an M10

Has anyone ever tried this or something similar? Or does anyone know what size the throttle bore is or where I can run a bike part number?

you'd have airflow restrictions that would limit your top end hp too much, i think. altho the port mixture velocity at light throttle would be really good if used with anything near a stock cam. CB Performance (aircooled VW/buggy guys)(ie, no "BMW markup"!) make reas priced TBs w/ indiv runners and butterflies that will work with any DCOE/Dellorto DHRA manifold.

don't have a venturi. Thus a 40mm MAY flow as much as a 45 carb. However I would think bike tb's would be too small. I have heard it has been done. Check out http://www.msefi.com/ (click the link)

If you look on ebay you can find a set for pretty cheap, maybe $100 or less. Some VW guy used a set and maybe an 02 guy did it as well
