tires and wheels Is it me or what???

3 times I've tried buying a 5 speed from guys here on the For Sale page. First time, some one beat me to the punch and said they would take it while I was asking questions....fair enuff. The secone time, I said sold right from the get-go) the seller (from OHIO) led me along for 6 weeks only to give me a crock that the trans was a 4 speed but he didn't know that until I tried to complete the sale. Finally ythis last time someone had a 320i for sale and I asked to buy the trans. They said they only wanted the wheels and needed some help coompleting the sale and shipping. I again followed through, but when I asked if the car was indeed a 5 speed car, suddenly the guy lost out to another bidder (after 3 more weeks). Bad luck or flakey Jakes?

3 piece case 5 speeds, too (Sacramento area) - surprised the LA/Orange county yards don't have 'em......
