Interesting to see that there's a Programmtester (see blue books engine section 11 00 009 for details) for sale on Facebook - £1,950 No assurances that it works

Do these ever show up? The Motortester-Kabinett or the briefcase Elektro-tester? 🤔

I think it'd be an interesting article for someone to do a re-write of the blue manual test procedures using modern equipment - and how to interpret the results, especially for common issues. Any volunteer? 😁

The test procedures are still accurate ‘as-is’ for modern equipment.. Most of it,  except for the oscilloscope & gas analyzer is still accurate information for an adjustable timing light, a multi-meter and a vacuum gauge.

 

Tinkerer Tom would instantly recognize these instructions as being applicable to his favorite tools… 😜
