when you buy bilsteins are you suppose to get

those little white collars (on front struts)or rings that secure the dust boot on the bottom? i bought new sports and i didnt get these. the bottom of the dust boots are flopping in the breeze. this doesnt seem right to me.

Yes, the white plastic collars should come with the dust boots. This is the latest design as the old style simply used zip ties or compression clamps as used on CV boots.

well mine came without them and the diameter of the dust boots are too large to zip tie and make it look correct. looks like ill have to call bilstein

and tire are mounted, you can't see shit. Mine are held on with hose clamps. Works well for me.

They keep dust out. And other types of dirt. You can't see the inside of the engine, but you try to keep dirt out of there, too, don't ya?

the dust boots are a larger diameter than the strut tubes and id have to pooch them up in order to zip tie them
