Parts needed...

Howdy all,

I am currently looking for a Bavaria Distributor, and a 4 cylinder centrifugal distributor. I'm looking for these items so I can build a 6 cylinder distributor for my 78 530i. If anyone has done this please shoot me a mail with some details, or at least some part numbers on what would work best. All I was told so far is that a 2002 (Tii was mentioned) centrifugal dist., and a large body Bav distributor have all the parts I need, and that I am to take the centrifugal parts out of the 4 cylinder and use pretty much swap it into the Bav dist. If any of you folks has a worn one laying around that may work, since I just need the centrifigal parts out of it.

Love the Idea. A bavaria distributor already has a centrifugal advance that works in conjunction with the vacume advance. I would get 2 bavaria distributors and do the Tii swap to one and then do a recurve on the other with different springs and just block off the vacume or keep the vacume. Have fun
