What is the best way to support the rear of the car when dropping the rear sub frame? 4x4 piece of wood from one side to the other under where the sub frame would mount? or..... I have everything disconnected and ready to drop it down

TIA,

Jake

Make sure that you disconnect the brake cables too.....when I did it the first time, they caught up the subframe, and I struggles with it for about an hour...

My rear subframe is really looking good....

2x4s along the length of the rocker to distribute the force of the jack stand.

If your just replacing the subframe to body bushings, I'm not sure you even need to jack up the car. Just support the subframe with a floor jack.
