It's too wide for the chassis mounts. Maybe there's been different shaped bars in e12. I'd like to see the one that fits.

a how to instructions on the 2002faq at one point. I will search later. It is not a bolt on if I remember but it does work and can fit.

It's not a straight "bolt on" but not too terribly hard to engineer. Let's just say I wouldn't want to install one without the benefit of an automotive lift.
