Has anyone driven race wheels on the street....

There are some panapsort wheels I an thinking oif getting and they are racing wheels that arelighter and I guess softer? but I was wondering if it would be ok to use them on the street?

Also would 15x6 +32 offset fit my 72 2002tii?

i just bought 15x6 et29 panasports and altho they say "racing" on the rim they arent true racing wheels. they are listed as their "fs" series for the street.

As stated above, Panasport makes 2 series of wheels that look very similar. The race versions are called Ultralites and have "For Racing Puposes Only" etched into the rim near the bead. Other than weight I'm not sure of the differences but I do know the Ultralites can take a beating without being damaged.

So they do not need to pass the standards of withholding an impact with a curb or a pot hole. Or other things like that. Usually less material will give you a weaker wheel.
