The M3 also has a slightly more slanted rear window glass as well. this is the reason for the "bump" on top of the roof near the rear glass. Trunk is fiberglass too!

Pet peeve of mine.

I love to see where some people just stick the emblems wherever.

The factory manual DOES have measurements for placement of the emblem. About 15mm from the bottom and 75mm from the right edge of the deck lid.
