the new C6 is sexy- just hope these new convertibles aren't plauged with typical GM plastics and such- and normal flaws

GM has sold the VX220 & Opel Speedster, both are based on the Lotus Elise.

This is a new platform made from "parts bin engineering" not "badge"

The low cost is from the car being developed borrowing parts from other current models.

The two GME products (VX220 & Speedster) are completely different cars built off the mid-engined Lotus Elise, while the Sky & Solstice are front engine.
