My car is about to be painted Colorado.

What is your feeling about gravel guard below front and rear bumpers and for the rockers ? What about painting the rocker black ? I feel it will give a higher looking stance to the car and my initial preference is to keep them Colorado.

Your comments will be welcomed.

Thanks

It was like that when I bought it, but I like it. I've gotten quite a few compliments on it also....even though it really needs a new paint job. I appear in a few pics on www.my2002tii.com, but you may not be able to see it very well.

Hi Curt,

Both of my '73's have what looks like orig paint on the rockers. I am not saying they are not a really old respray on them though.

I wonder if they started painting the rockers mid '73? My vins are 2764167 and 2762913.

Just my 2 cents..

Jason

...and my brand new Amazonagrun '74 2002 (#4225509) had black rockers.

My Chamonix '69 had white rockers that had been sprayed black. I was forever touching them up with black spray bomb.

Personally, I like body color rockers because it enhances the boxy shape, but that's on my roundie.

Do as you wish.

Cheers!

Delia
