Any advantages for running aluminum alternator and crank pul

Obviously they are lighter than the stock units, but will that

translate into more power, or are do they basically just look cool

and cost alot of money?

hose clamps are 4 bucks each. the marine industry uses this stuff.

Honestly, red painted titanium is the way to go for the ultimate uber

cool.

Not so much the change in material, but these custom pulleys are being sold for race use where they work to slow down the FEAD (front engine accessory drive) components. Smaller crank pulley & larger driven pulleys elsewhere.

When you are running the engine primarily in the upper RPM band, the stock pulley set turns the water pump & generator too fast.
