VDO oil pressure gauge/warning light readings...

For those of you with the 0-150 psi VDO electric oil pressure gauge: at what psi does your oil pressure warning light start to flicker? Mine seems to be set for 15 psi--when the needle is on the 15 psi line, the light flickers. Hot engine, 800 rpm idle, 15 psi (207k, original engine) Anyone with similar, or are yours set for a lower pressure before lighting the yellow light?

Thanx

Mike

Nevada 69 (the flicker)

Sahara 73 (25-30 psi at idle)

My light behaves like it should, goes right out after startup, however after warming up my psi according to gauge at idle is consistently zero! I think I have the wrong guage/sender combination!

and have ever since I put in the gage and twin sending unit That was about 17 years and 125k miles with a new engine 50k back from now. When it is REAL warm out, the light sometimes just flickers a bit at idle. Tap the throttle it jumps back up (Mob 1 15W-50 oil)
