schuetz1619
I have the above diff in my 2002 and am about to change the lubricant. Is RedLine MT90 OK? How much do I need? I have just over a quart and don't want to start if I don't have enough. Thanks.
Son of Marty
You'll need just under a quart and a half, fill until it runs out the fill hole. Edited October 17, 2022 by Son of Marty

A hint imparted to me a long time ago...applicable to both trannys and diffs: before draining the old oil, remove the fill plug first...a stuck fill plug and an empty tranny/diff case is not a Good Thing... mike 2
Son of Marty
Absolutely Mike, having the fill plug removed also promotes good drainage.
paulyg
Just did mine, I wish I had done it when I got the car. Maybe a pint of very burned smelling fluid drained out, a quart and a quarter of fresh fluid went in. No odd noises or signs of problems this whole time, though.
