Tbone1209
Do the Touring and Sedan use the same Roundel on the rear?
John_in_VA
It might depend on the year, but realoem.com shows a 71 touring has the same roundels front & rear - D=82MM , from 04/1971 to 04/1974, part # 51145480181. https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=2631-EUR-12-1972-114-BMW-2000&diagId=51_3336 Sedans had different roundels on the back depending on the year (round v. square tail lights). Same 82mm on the hood as above. Badge on the rear panel of roundie from 03/1966 to 08/1973, D=70MM, part # 51141801560 https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=ST12-USA-11-1971-114-BMW-2002&diagId=51_3336 Edited September 10, 2022 by John_in_VA
Tbone1209
Thanks for the info! I did see that but was hoping to get one of the Touring owners to confirm.

jgerock
Also interesting is the “2002tii” rear script is different on a touring versus sedan. The touring script is shorter in length I’m assuming due to the larger diameter tail lights. I purchased a new rear script for my 73 some years ago and noted it was different than my original one.
