Time for period wheels

Oh well there was text with this and it vanished... Too lazy to retype. But anyway after 14y with the car and countless stupidly upsized wheels and tires of all sorts, ruining my shoulders at low speeds, I finally went back to stock (almost - 185/70/13) with the original alloys and CN36 tires... Feels great, saved over 3 lbs per corner to boot, big difference in feel... And the damn hubcaps only cost me a kidney ;-(

Looks really great (the new shoes AND the car). ?

I’ve got a “bone stock“ look going on mine and am generally content with the 13” steelies and covers. If the right set of Cosmics  comes my way someday, though, I’ll probably be doing the wheel swap tango.

Anyway, nice choice in both wheels and tires, IMO—enjoy!

We put these on a 67 1600 hotrod in 1974. No idea where we got them or what they are but they fell readily to hand in Marin County. As I recall they're 6x13 and with CN36 have enough offset so you have to either lip or roll the rear fenders if lowering.

They're under the bench and surplus to needs. I think they have usable cheap tires.
