Rota OS Mesh 15x7 et25 Silver w/ polished lip in Raleigh NC

Recommended Posts

Price: $617
Location: Raleigh, NC

Description:

4 wheels with 4 center caps. Bought these way back when for $617.50 total, and while they were sitting in the closet I decided to go with the 13" wheels, so they've never been used.

15x7 for a 57.1mm hub with 25 mm offset which is supposedly the "right" size for a 15" wheel for a 2002 according to others on the 2002faq. I've never used 15" wheels so I don't personally know.

Silver centers with polished rims.

There's not really any difference but here's one picture of each wheel

The last two still have the plastic wrap on them.

Each has a center cap as well

And here's a couple pictures outside so you can see the color better

Unfortunately since I never used them I don't have any pictures on a 2002 but I believe the following forum members had the same exact wheel colors and dimensions

Thanks - Those pics were taken when I just installed new H&R Sport springs and Billy Sport shocks.

I thought the same thing - I wanted a little more drop,

I hoped that the suspension might settle in a little. Here  are some pics taken today.

I did!  They're awesome!!  Here are a few pics with Continental Pro Contact 195 50 15s  Zero spacers and 100% stock suspension.  The only thing I need to figure out is how to replace the ROTA center caps with BMW ones.  I haven't even tried to look into that yet.

Next up this winter are coil overs, bushings, sway bars and breaks.

I'm just looking to get back the $617.50 I spent on them.

I'm located in Raleigh NC and prefer to do a local transaction, but if you're interested in getting them shipped let me know your location and I can look into it.

Where did you buy these? Missed on this sale may look to buy new.

I bought them on ebay in 2014 from 18racing a few months after the group order happened which I missed, I bought them from 18racing which I think was the company that the group on the faq did the group order through.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
