I took the winter windshield snow/ice blanket to the beach for our week stay. Put it on every morning, cracked the windows, kept the car cooler in the hot beach sun. I plan to use it on Lilli, my 76 2002 when ever she is unprotected on a hot summer day. Not often mind you.  

 

It also worked this past winter in Bucks County, Pa on our 2012 Subaru. It has flaps that fold under the door/window frames and elastic ties for the side view mirrors. Takes about a minute to attach and remove.   Detach, peel off, fold, drive.
