Engine builder near Birmingham Alabama recommendations.

Hello all, I’m looking for recommendations on getting my engine rebuilt or biting the bullet and ordering a rebuilt one from one of the engine builders on the internet (Metric/Korman etc.).

I am the proud owner of a ’72 Verona base model. Stock M10 with 32/36 Weber and long headers. I have owned the car for 2 years and it is mainly a daily driver.

I am fairly well versed in mechanics however, I do not have the space, tools, or time to do a home rebuild.

1). Local rebuild – The Birmingham area machine shop have pretty bad reviews. Any recommendations for a local or surrounding area builder?

2). Non-local builder – Any recommendations? Good reviews?

You might consider checking with Atlanta owners or shops -Harrison Motorsports might be a good place to start . 

It's a big further, but Memphis Motor Werks does excellent work.

Thanks for the info. I searched for Atlanta area shops on this forum. Most of the post were way outdated. I'll look into Harrison and Memphis Motor Werks.
