Just more total bullsh*t from Frank. I have finally accepted I will never be receiving them.

This has been pretty much the most rotten experience of all time. It's really not just the money, it's the continual pretense of hope. Truly horrible. Hugely tainted the last 18 months of ownership of my car; every time I drive it I can't help think about the wheels I paid for which should be on it, instead of which I have an endless stream of lies and false promises.

[edit - just did it myself, and with #bbs having 4m followers most people in the market should eventually get the message. You really should link back from your web site to this thread, so people can see this is not one guy with an axe to grind]

The guy appears to be an absolute tool, try not to let it spoil your car for you, he wins twice if you do.

Same story here, he always answers my texts right away but just with more BS. I've thrown in the towel and bought tires for my 13" Minilites and am looking forward to getting them this week! I guess I will go through and update the half a dozen or so posts that I made in various Facebook groups. Other than that, I'm done. For a period of time I was reaching out to everyone who liked one of his posts on Instagram and letting them know not to get involved...However that is WORK and really kept this mistake in the forefront of my mind. I think this thread suffices at this point, it's the first result when you google him. Anyway, I'll keepy my eye on this thread and obviously update if something happens but am otherwise finished thinking about this.

Just a random comment - I bought a set of 15” melbers from Frank a few years ago without any issues.
Then out of the blue he’s just sent me pics on FB messenger of some new wheels - trawling for another sucker I guess?

He seems to have disappeared (for now), he used to delete my comments and occasionally respond to my messages asking where my wheels were. Keep an eye out for him using a different alias. I hope and wonder if his scamming ways finally caught up with him. That being said, if anyone has a set of alpina borranis, I never received mine from Frank and would still love to buy a set.

I have the same problem. I trusted Frank because a friend bought from him many yeras ago and everything was ok.

I am waiting from the beginning of 2022 and still waiting the dispatch from October 2022.

Still the same excuses today (April 2023) with the difficulties of the work and will be dispatched.

Is anyone receive lately?

I always get a glimmer of hope when I see this thread updated, but I don't know why. I talked to a guy on FB who got his wheels after 3 years, but that does not give me any more confidence about getting my own. I ordered/paid in February of 2021...

I hate to stir up this thread, but I am curious, has anyone heard from this piece of trash recently? He was responding to me every time up until April of this year. I reached out to him the last time this thread was updated, and I saw the "read" receipt, but he never replied. I messaged him again in June, again no reply but he did read the message. Then I started poking around a little more. No FB posts, hasn't posted on IG since November of last year, website is offline and domain is for sale. I messaged him again yesterday and it went through as a text message... I reached out on FB, nothing there either.

 

It's likely that he has just crawled back into whatever hole he came from, or he's on to a new scam with a new name. In any case I thought I'd see what others have heard.

  I got scammed by Frank for $4,500 and only got excuses, more delays and then finally ignored.  I have no recourse because I’m outside the time to open a claim with PayPal.  I got screwed by that thieving cockroach.  Someone please tell me his location.  Willing to travel, haven’t had a vacation in a while.
