Only one hole….it’s half the dash! ?

It’s on the flat portion of the tray and easy to Repair compared to a curved or round portion

crack. As I’ve stated no other portion is damaged.

are you interested in buying a three piece dash or just trolling?

If it’s easy to repair then repair it! Just getting tired of people thinking they’re crap parts are worth gold that’s all. This community used to be about helping one another out now it’s all about how much money people can squeeze out of folks for junk or “rare” parts.  Also for anyone interested in dashes they’re in the process of reproducing them…

i second that...it's no longer about helping another guy it's about making as much $ off of another guy as possible...about feeling good about how much money you may have made rather than feeling good about how much you may have helped another o2 owner

1. “If it’s easy to repair, just repair “

I don’t need it, I just needed the tray

       Portion.

2. “People thinking their crap parts ….”

The parts show ( instruments surround

and top portion of dash ) are factory new

the tray is free with the other parts.

3.    “ How much money can be squeezed out

         of ……”

I paid $ 2,600 for the complete dash

        selling parts I don’t need

4. Your a Dick

I never thought I’d be defending Gary, particularly against members I’ve always found to be reasonable… ?

But… if Gary (a.) paid $2,600 for an NOS three-piece dashboard — that is absolutely the going rate for NOS dashboards, some are more! — (b.) installed only the lower component, because his car’s original dash was great, except for the the parcel shelf, which was cut for the Mark IV A/C, and (c.) is now offering the binnacle and the upper component for $1,700, he, in effect, paid $900 for the NOS lower component he’s actually using.

Yes, 20 years ago, you could still buy brand-spanking-new one-piece dashes from BMW for only $1,200. But if you can find an early NOS binnacle and upper component, today, for less than $1,700, you should buy it. If you cannot, but want those components, and not modern repos, you should make Gary an offer. He can only say yes or no.

There’s a current eBay listing for a set of e21 5 1/2” turbines (by FPS), out of Slovakia, with a $5,999 ask. They need refinishing. I could probably buy a similar set here, today, for $200 to $300. But I couldn’t readily find two components of a three-piece NOS dash for less than $1,700. Some high prices are abusive, some are simply the market.

Regards,

Steve

Your completely clueless, you have no idea how much money I’ve spent at Korman, Ireland, lajoya independent and blunt

in the last 6 years I’ve spent north of

$150k

Esty, I’ve also noticed you don’t give your stuff away for free either
