Is there reason not to use Constant Tension Hose Clamp

Recommended Posts

I want to know if anyone have experience with CTC for fuel lines and/or pro's and con's. I am constantly tightening fuel lines hose clamps. I just want to be done with them at least for awhile.

Probably every Ford made from the 60's on and maybe before uses those clamps, Ive used them for fuel lines with no problem as long as they are sized right and you have accsess to get a set of pliers in there, they also do wear out if you release them alot so buy spares.

No reason at all not to use on a low pressure system,I prefer them actually. As long as you are not running FI.
