123ignition Distributor - No gear

Purchased a Tune+ 123ignition distributor for the tii from ie, and was planning on installing it tomorrow. I took it out of the box, and immediately noticed that there is no gear installed!

 

I missed getting Ireland on the phone by 1 minute, so will have to call tomorrow.

 

I am assuming I have a later M10 version, especially since mine is labeled CCW (and that one doesn't come with a gear). IE website says it can work either clockwise or CCW.

 

Honestly, I would just swap the gear, but my dizzy works fine, and if it was supposed to come with a gear, I would rather get one and maintain my working backup.

 

Anyone else received a 123 dizzy without a gear recently?

Yes, it most certainly should have a gear installed on it.

I'd contact 123 Ignition regarding that "no gear" issue as there is one where the gear is a separate purchase.

Ireland just sent me the wrong one, and I didn't catch it until I was ready to install.

 

They are going to send me the correct one, hopefully on the way to me today.
