Cool Zip Tie tabs

Dudeland

Recommended Posts

I don't normally post this sort of thing, but I ordered a bunch of these little zip tie tabs from a company called TMR customs.  They are simple laser cut tabs that you can weld on to your chassis to hold stuff.  I am going to use them to hold on the fuel lines among other things.  I thought I would pass it on.  They are a Canadian company so your U.S dollars go a long way.

Enjoy!

...and then, there are zip tie cradles/saddles,  been around for a very long time.

Panduit used to make the best zip-tie-wraps.

Pan-tys.

I am not kidding.

With a steel 'tooth' that locked at any point on the strap.

We're having a hard time

getting them these days.

A radiator shop is a good place to take a leak.

I have no idea what I'm doing but I know I'm really good at it.

Just always use original Thomas & Betts Ty-Rap cable ties. They aren't expensive if bought in bulk from Amazon, are way more adjustable, and last much longer than cheap ones. I bought the 1000 pack of two different sizes and won't need anymore for a very long time.

Panduit  (if it still exists) used to sell an air-powered automatic ty wrap tool.  It looked like a small AR-15. Before the computer age removed most wiring harnesses from the auto and TV industry assembly line  harnesses in quantity  for GM, Ford and a host electronic mfg. would not have been possible

73 Tii stock build, Porsche Macan   , E46 330i Florida driver,

….and like most of us, way too many (maybe 30 at last count) I wish I hadn't sold ?
