throttle shaft?

Yes, anything's replaceable.

But as John notes, it's usually the throttle housing-

and that can be re- bushed by anyone who works on old carbs.

Autosport Seattle did mine 20 years ago- they do SU's, mainly,

but after a quick glance at the single Solex, said, 'oh, sure, no problems'

back when Seattle only sorta sucked.

Can be done.  You need someone who can fabricate a shaft.

heh

The pump crank off the end makes it a bit more tricky,

but that's just some file work.  I forget- is the throttle plate mounting surface

slotted or just cut away?  I traded away my last singles a few years

back for some Weber parts for the tractor!

Most of us, in your boat, fit a 32-36 for tunability and parts availability,

but there's not a LOT of powah to be had there.
